What NaapPro is

NaapPro is tailor shop management software made in Pakistan, for Pakistani tailor shops, darzis, boutiques and alteration businesses. It keeps the customer's naap, the orders, the delivery dates, the bills and the udhaar in one place - on the phone that is already in the shop.

Why we built it

Walk into almost any tailor shop and you will see the same three things: a naap register held together with tape, an order book where the same suit is written twice, and a khata for udhaar. Nothing is wrong with the system except what always happens to paper - pages tear, handwriting is hard to read, only one person can hold the book, and when the book is lost the shop's memory is lost with it.

Meanwhile the customers are on WhatsApp, the shop's phone is the computer, and the owner does not want to learn accounting software built for big factories. NaapPro is the middle ground: a paper register that never gets lost, in the words a darzi already uses.

The measurement names are the ones you use: qameez length, bazu, tairum, gala, chest, kamar, ghera, shalwar length, panchah. The money is in rupees with udhaar where it belongs. The support is on WhatsApp, in Urdu or English, from people who understand a tailoring shop's day. We are not trying to look like a Silicon Valley product - we are trying to be the tool a darzi in Rawalpindi or Multan actually keeps using after the first week.

What we are not

We are not a full accounting package, and we do not pretend to be. NaapPro handles the tailor shop's daily work - naap, orders, delivery, bills and udhaar. If you need a chartered accountant's general ledger, you already have one, and you can export your data to them.
